Two-Year-Old Dies After Falling from Building in Hulhumalé Phase 2

A two-year-old child has died after falling from a building in Hulhumalé Phase 2 this morning.

Police confirmed that the child was dead before being taken to hospital. Authorities did not disclose the name or details of the building where the incident occurred.

Local media reports, however, said the child fell from a STELCO flat in Phase 2.

The incident comes a day after another child fell from a tower in Aman Dhoadhi. The child was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where the child remains under treatment.

Police have not released further details about either incident.
