Villa College has opened applications for its January 2027 intake, offering over 100 courses from Certificate Level 4 to master’s degrees.
With the official opening taking place on Tuesday, the institution notes that the available disciplines include information technology, computer science, law, sharia, aviation management, nursing, public health, psychology, culinary arts, and several engineering fields. Villa College emphasises that programmes are accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority, with additional approvals from the Maldives Bar Council and the Allied Health Council for relevant courses.
The college continues its partnerships with overseas institutions, including the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), the University of Portsmouth, and Malaysia’s University of Cyberjaya. Under the agreement with Portsmouth, engineering students may complete their final degree years in the UK.
Villa College details that, in accounting, graduates of the college’s BSc programme qualify for direct entry to CIMA’s Management Case Study exam, alongside six exemptions from ACCA.
Most programmes are offered with online study options, excluding engineering, teaching, nursing, and pharmacy. The institution states that campus facilities include 16 subject laboratories, a technology hub, sports amenities, and student support services including academic clinics and counselling. The college has also integrated practical components into its courses, including internships, project work, and skills-tracking profiles.
The institution holds a QS Stars rating and an impact ranking under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by Times Higher Education.
Villa College additionally highlights that applications close on 26 December 2026 via the college website, with provisions in place for applicants awaiting late O-Level and A-Level results.
