WAMCO to Reduce Waste Disposal Fees for SMEs From February

The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) will reduce waste disposal fees for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) starting from February.

The decision follows instructions from President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to adjust the existing waste disposal fee bands for SMEs.

The move responds to concerns raised by SMEs over high waste disposal costs during a recent meeting with the President.

WAMCO is currently finalising the new fee bands and will announce the updated structure in the coming days.
