The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has issued a warning advising two-wheeler riders and commuters on bridges and highways to exercise extreme caution this afternoon due to anticipated swell waves.
The alert follows a forecast by the Maldives Meteorological Service (MET), which indicates a likelihood of swell waves between 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM today. These conditions may impact key transport routes, particularly low-lying roads and overwater bridges.
