Water Supply Resumes at Hiyaa Towers Following Pipe Burst

Water supply has been restored to the Hiyaa Towers in Hulhumalé after being disrupted yesterday due to a burst water pipe.

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) confirmed that the supply was halted for Towers 1 to 8 following the incident. HDC stated that they collaborated with Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) to address the issue and aimed to resolve it.

The issue was successfully resolved yesterday at 5:11 pm, as per HDC’s announcement.

Images and videos shared on social media showed significant flooding in the area caused by the burst pipe, drawing public attention to the incident.
