WDC Expo 2026 Concludes at Kulhudhuffushi City

The “WDC Expo 2026”, organised jointly by the Kulhudhuffushi City Women’s Development Committee (WDC) and the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, concluded successfully after being held on Monday.

According to a press release sent by the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, The WDC Expo, held at the city’s Beach Handball Arena, featured a total of 25 stalls, and showcased the talents and skills of various small-scale businesses and entrepreneurs. The event received strong public support, with more than 1,100 people visiting the expo, according to the city council.

Stalls at the expo included a wide range of products and services, such as various food items, garments, resin art, handicrafts, and several community-oriented services, according to the press release. The council further said that In addition to financial benefits, participants noted that the expo provided valuable exposure for their work, opportunities to promote their businesses, access to information related to entrepreneurial activities, and encouragement to further develop their ventures.

The Kulhudhuffushi City Council said that the main objective of the expo was to create an accessible platform to promote the work of local artisans and small businesses, while providing an environment where their products and services could be showcased. A total of 25 participants took part in the expo, including 23 women and two men.
