Get started with these five no-nonsense tips.

Wear Sunscreen Everyday

Whether its sunny or rainy, always remember to wear sunscreen. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Apply sunscreen generously, and reapply every two hours.

Treat your skin gently

Instead of applying harsh chemicals and booking intense cleansing sessions every month, consider some gentler options. Such as limiting your bath or shower time, and use warm water instead of hot water. You should also look for mild cleansers than strong fragrant ones as those can strip oil from your skin.  And . If your skin is dry, use a moisturizer that fits your skin type. For daily use, consider a moisturizer that contains SPF.

Eat a healthy diet

Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Drinking plenty of water will also help keep your skin hydrated.

Don't Skimp on Sleep

You should be aiming for seven to eight hours of sleep each night to give your entire body time to repair and recharge for the next day. If you’re not giving your body time to reset and refresh, you could end up dealing with eye bags, dark circles, breakouts, wrinkles, inflammation and more. If you’re having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, you can try following a calming nighttime routine to promote relaxation.

Remove Makeup Before Bed

When you go to bed with makeup on, you’re not just leaving the makeup. You’re also leaving behind all of the dirt, oil and toxins that your skin has collected over the course of the day. If you don’t cleanse away the bad stuff, you could be facing clogged pores, irritated skin and breakouts. It only takes a minute to rid your skin of harmful bacteria and prevent future, unpleasant issues.
