New Bus Route Improves Access to Orange Hiyaa for Thalassaemia Patients

An additional bus route has been introduced to improve transport accessibility for thalassaemia patients travelling to Orange Hiyaa.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the new route, labelled ‘R15’, serves Hulhumalé Phase I and Phase II and now includes a stop at Orange Hiyaa. This development is part of President Muizzu’s pledge to enhance access to healthcare services for thalassaemia patients.

The ‘R15’ route officially began stopping at Orange Hiyaa from 13:30 on Monday, 5 May. MTCC has also released updated route maps showing the changes to both the new ‘R15’ and the existing ‘R5’ routes.
