Police Investigate Violent Altercation Between Two Men in Hulhumalé

A violent altercation between two men occurred outside a residence in Hulhumalé, leading to the arrest of both individuals involved.
The incident took place outside a property on Burevigas Magu and was reported to police at 1:00pm yesterday.

According to police, the altercation involved the current boyfriend and former husband of a woman. Family members were also drawn into the incident, contributing to the escalation.
Both men sustained injuries during the confrontation, with one suffering a head wound. They were treated at hospital and subsequently taken into police custody following their discharge.
The case remains under investigation by the Maldives Police Service.
