In line with previous years, the government has implemented special arrangements to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey to the airport. Dedicated bus services were provided from Male’ and Hulhumale’, with easy access also ensured via the Hulhule’ Ferry Terminal.

Three bus routes operated from Male’ and two from Hulhumale’, with services beginning at 10:30 hrs. Police officers and scout volunteers were stationed at designated bus stops to provide assistance to the pilgrims.

Maldivian pilgrims completed Saudi immigration procedures before departing from the Maldives. This arrangement was made possible under a special directive issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.

Additional groups of Maldivian pilgrims are scheduled to depart on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
