Soldier Found Dead at Bandaara Koshi, Police Probe Underway

The Maldives Police Service has launched an investigation following the death of a soldier at the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF)’s Bandaara Koshi headquarters.

According to a statement issued to the media, Police identified the deceased as a 35-year-old Maldivian man.

Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway, but no further information has been made public at this time.

When asked about the incident, the MNDF stated that, as the case is being handled by Police, all details will be shared by the investigating authority.
