Alzheimer’s Society of Maldives Announces Two Support Programmes for Dementia Community

The Alzheimer’s Society of Maldives has announced two upcoming programmes to support individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
Online Support Group for Caregivers
The Society’s monthly Online Caregiver Support Group will occur on Thursday, 19th June 2025, from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This virtual session offers informational and emotional support to those caring for individuals with dementia.
Caregivers interested in participating can register using the following link: https://forms.gle/CGxCF7EDnVcpXRjG9. It is important to note that the support group is not intended to serve as a substitute for professional medical advice, but rather as a space for shared experience and support.
This month’s Online Caregiver Support Group is scheduled as follows:

Activities for Persons with Dementia
An in-person activity session for individuals with dementia is scheduled for Thursday, 12th June 2025 (tomorrow), from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in Malé. These sessions are organised to provide cognitive stimulation, engagement, and social interaction in a safe and supportive environment.
