The Maldives and Singapore are expected to sign several memoranda of understanding across a range of sectors. President Muizzu will also meet with members of the Maldivian community living in Singapore.

Singapore has long been a reliable partner to the Maldives, and this visit aims to deepen diplomatic, economic, and people-to-people ties between the two nations. The Maldives and Singapore established diplomatic relations on 20 February 1975.
