Four Injured as Speedboat Crashes into Jetty in Thinadhoo

Four individuals were injured on Monday when a speedboat crashed into the jetty in GDh. Thinadhoo after losing control.
The incident occurred at around 1:50 p.m., according to Maldives Police Service. The speedboat was carrying six individuals at the time, including the captain, a crew member, and four passengers. Among the passengers were a one-year-old child and three women.
Police confirmed that the injured include the 50-year-old captain, a 29-year-old male crew member, and two female passengers aged 25 and 28. All four are currently undergoing treatment at Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Thinadhoo.
