Immigration Seeks Two Bangladeshi Nationals Amid Ongoing Compliance Efforts

Maldives Immigration is seeking public assistance to locate two Bangladeshi nationals who failed to comply with official summons issued by the authorities.

The individuals, Md Chotan Miah, 32, and Mohammad Jowel Miah, 31, were separately summoned to appear at designated immigration offices but failed to do so within the required timeframe.

Md Chotan Miah was ordered to report in person to the Enforcement and Compliance Division at the Maldives Immigration Detention Centre, Hulhumalé Phase 2, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, following a notice issued on 9 July 2025.

The following day, Mohammad Jowel Miah was instructed to appear at the Risk Management Section of Maldives Immigration, located on the 10th floor of the M. Star Cloud building in Malé, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Both individuals were given five days to comply, but have since failed to present themselves.

Authorities are now requesting information from the public regarding their whereabouts.
