Forensic Diving Course Concludes in Vaani, Dhaalu Atoll

A forensic diving course conducted in Vaani, Dhaalu Atoll, has concluded after 40 days of training.
Organised by the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement, the programme included a combination of Open Water Dive, Advanced Open Water Dive, Emergency First Response (EFR), Rescue Diving, and Forensic Diving modules.

The course began on 1 June with the objective of equipping participants with technical and practical skills required for underwater forensic investigations. It aimed to strengthen the capacity of officers in handling forensic diving operations.
The closing ceremony was held on 10 July and attended by Commissioner of Police, Ismail Naveen. Ten police officers from four countries completed the course, including five from the Maldives and others from Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka.
