The visit forms part of President Muizzu’s nationwide initiative to tour all atolls and meet councils at island, atoll, and city levels. Most recently, he toured the Noonu Atoll on a similar trip, on which he visited 13 inhabited islands of the atoll as well. He met with the island and atoll authorities, launched development projects, and met with the residents on the trip last month.
He is scheduled to return to Malé on Thursday.
