New Lagoon Sends Over 40 Swimmers to Thailand for AOSI Championships

New Lagoon Swimming Club has sent more than 40 athletes to Thailand to compete in the Asian Open Schools Invitational (AOSI) Short Course Swimming Championships.

This marks the club’s fourth participation in the prestigious competition, which features both national-level swimmers and young talents, including children as young as seven years old.

The team of 42 swimmers will take part in numerous individual events, demonstrating their dedication, training, and commitment to the sport.

The New Lagoon Swimming Club expressed support for its athletes and anticipates strong performances as they represent the Maldives on the regional stage.
