President Muizzu Launches AGO Website at 75th Anniversary Ceremony

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu launched the Attorney General’s Office’s (AGO) new website at the official ceremony held to celebrate the office’s 75th anniversary last night, at Barceló Nasandhura. 

At the event, the President also launched the Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Book, published by the Attorney General’s Office, to mark the milestone. President Muizzu presented awards to staff members who have served the Attorney General’s Office for more than 20 years. Employees with 15 to 20 years of service were recognised by Attorney General Ahmed Usham, who presented their awards.

Usham also presented a commemorative plaque to the President on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office to mark the occasion.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the People’s Majlis and the judiciary, along with former Attorneys General and numerous past and present staff members of the Office.

President Muizzu concluded the ceremony by participating in a commemorative photo session to mark the 75th anniversary.
