Dhiraagu stated that, under the agreement, the university’s incubator programme will operate as MNU InnovateHub Powered by Dhiraagu, with a focus on helping students develop innovative ideas into practical and scalable solutions that contribute to national development and long-term sustainability.

According to Dhiraagu, MNU InnovateHub functions as a university-based incubator, offering capacity building, mentorship, ideation, validation, and early-stage venture development. The programme aligns with national strategic priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting a shared commitment to responsible and sustainable innovation.

As part of the partnership, Dhiraagu stated that they will provide financial and in-kind support to the programme. This includes mentorship, participation as judges at pitch events, and the provision of Dhiraagu HighSpeed Fibre Internet to support the incubator’s operations.

The company states that the collaboration underscores Dhiraagu’s ongoing engagement in youth empowerment, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship development in the Maldives. It also highlights the role of university–industry partnerships in expanding opportunities for young entrepreneurs and strengthening the country’s innovation landscape.
