Ministry Opens Applications For 3rd Batch Of Job Readiness Program For PWDs

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has opened applications to join the third batch of the job readiness program for persons with disabilities.
In a post shared on X, the ministry said that the program will run for 6 months. The deadline to apply has been set for 12 January, on the coming Monday.

Those interested have been instructed to apply through a link by submitting a digital form.

The ministry has said that anyone wishing to inquire about the program can reach them through Viber on 7206558 or through their call centre number, 1433. Inquiries can also be made through the ministry’s email, des@msfd.gov.mv.
The Minister of Social and Family Development Dr Aishath Shiham has previously said that the government has provided employment opportunities for 350 persons with disabilities during the current term. Minister Shiham made the remarks on 3 December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
