For many, the journey of Umrah or Hajj is deeply spiritual, but it can also be physically demanding. Recognising this, The Wellness Club at ADK Hospital has designed a special strength, conditioning, and wellness program to help pilgrims prepare their bodies and minds for the experience ahead. Focusing on endurance, mobility, strength, and overall well-being, the programme ensures participants can embrace their journey with confidence, energy, and ease.

It’s part of a broader story of growth for The Wellness Club, which recently celebrated three years of fostering health and vitality. What started as a vision to promote holistic well-being has evolved into a vibrant, community-focused hub that nurtures physical, mental, and lifestyle health for all ages.

The club’s offerings are as varied as the people they serve. From Sports Rehabilitation, Strength, and Conditioning, developed with the ADK Physio Department to support athletes recovering from injury, to programmes for the general population that improve movement, flexibility, and overall fitness—there’s something for everyone.

For those managing lifestyle-related conditions, the NCD Prevention & Intervention Programme combines structured exercise with practical guidance to support healthier routines, particularly for people living with diabetes or high cholesterol.

The Wellness Club also caters to life’s different stages. YoungStars, a fun, supervised programme for 8- to 14-year-olds, builds confidence, fitness, and positive movement habits. Women have access to WellWomen, including a dedicated Pre-Menopause and Menopause Programme to support hormonal and physical changes, while older adults can enjoy the Special Elderly Class, designed to improve strength, mobility, independence, and confidence.

Across all ages and abilities, for The Wellness Club, it is more than exercise—it’s about creating a culture of wellness. Whether preparing for a pilgrimage, recovering from an injury, or simply striving to live a healthier life, the club encourages its members to move, grow, and thrive together.

Celebrating three years of holistic wellness. One strong community. Always moving forward.
