Ooredoo Maldives has introduced a new feature called Karaa Quest to its popular seasonal digital game #OoredooKaraaFelhun, offering players a new way to earn points and compete with others during the Ramadan period.

The newly launched feature allows players to take part in an interactive map-based experience where watermelons, locally known as karaa, appear across a digital map based on the user’s location. Participants can move around, locate the watermelons and slice them within the game to earn points for their respective teams.

According to Ooredoo Maldives, once a watermelon is sliced, it is replaced with the flag of the player’s team, marking the territory and contributing to the overall team score in the competition. Players can continue exploring the map to find and slice more watermelons, helping their teams claim additional areas and improve their standings.

The Karaa Quest feature adds an element of exploration and strategy to the #OoredooKaraaFelhun game, encouraging participants to move around their surroundings while competing with friends, family and communities.

#OoredooKaraaFelhun has become a popular digital activity among customers during Ramadan, combining friendly competition, entertainment and rewards for participants across the Maldives.

Players can access Karaa Quest through the Ooredoo App, where they can join a team, start slicing watermelons to earn points and stand a chance to win prizes.Ooredoo Maldives said the feature is part of its ongoing efforts to introduce innovative digital experiences for customers, aligned with the company’s vision of enabling a Digital Maldives.
