President Honours Top Students at High Achievers’ Award 2025 Ceremony

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the fifth session of the High Achievers’ Award 2025 ceremony yesterday evening, where he presented awards to students who achieved the highest academic honours in national and international examinations.
The ceremony was held at the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Hulhumalé.
Awards were presented to students who secured the highest marks nationwide in individual subjects in the secondary and higher secondary examinations. Honours were also conferred on recipients of the High Achievement Award for secondary education, the Outstanding Pearson Learner Award for secondary examinations, the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for higher secondary examinations, and the High Achievers’ Scholarship.
President Muizzu presented awards to students receiving the highest honours during the ceremony.
Upon his arrival, the President was received with an honour guard and was presented with a commemorative gift by students.
According to the President’s Office, expanding access to education and higher learning, while developing a generation of academically and technically skilled young people, remains a key pillar of the government’s long-term vision for national development.
