Adhaalath Party Opens Applications for 20 Malaysia Scholarships for Low-Income Students

The Adhaalath Party has opened applications for 20 scholarship opportunities at a Malaysian university, with priority to be given to students from low-income families.
In an announcement issued yesterday, the party said the scholarships were offered by Albukhary International University in Malaysia and would be available for the intake beginning on 26 October 2026.
The scholarships cover three-year undergraduate degree programmes in the university’s School of Business, School of Education and Human Sciences, and School of Computing. Available fields include business, education, social and human sciences, computer science, data science, information technology and cybersecurity.

Applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old, unmarried, have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification, and not currently be enrolled at a higher education institution. Candidates must also meet the university’s minimum academic requirements, including a CGPA of at least 2.8, or 3.0 for computer science and data science programmes, and possess a recognised English language qualification such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOEFL iBT or PTE.
The party said applicants from financially disadvantaged backgrounds would be prioritised. It also stated that applicants must not have a sibling who has previously received assistance from the university’s foundation.
According to the announcement, the scholarship covers all expenses except visa fees, travel costs to Malaysia and a university security deposit of 1,200 Malaysian ringgit.
