Malé City Council Launches Dedicated Whistleblower Email for Submissions

The Male’ City Council has established a dedicated whistleblower email address to allow citizens to report administrative concerns, irregularities, and misconduct.
The announcement was made public via an official statement shared on the council’s social media channels today.

As per the announcement, under the new initiative, members of the public can directly submit reports of suspected wrongdoing, systemic issues, or official misconduct to whistleblower@malecity.gov.mv.
“We encourage the public to use this channel responsibly and help us strengthen transparency, accountability, and good governance in Malé City,” the municipal authority stated in its release.
The council emphasised responsible reporting to ensure that allegations submitted through the secure email channel can be thoroughly investigated while maintaining administrative integrity.
