Scheduled flights between the Maldives and Bulgaria to start in November 2026

Bulgarian carrier GullivAir is launching direct scheduled flights between Malé and Sofia, establishing a non-stop air link between the Maldives and Southeast Europe.
The new seasonal service begins on 6 November 2026 and will operate through the winter season until 26 March 2027, with GullivAir using its wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route to cater to long-haul leisure travel demands.
Under the flight schedule, weekly services from Malé to Sofia depart every Friday at 4.30 pm, arriving in the Bulgarian capital at 11.30 pm local time. Return flights from Sofia depart every Saturday at 7.45 pm, landing in the Maldives at 7.15 am.
