Running from June 3 to October 3, 2026, the programme trained participants across six technical disciplines: Automobile Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Works, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welding and Metal Fabrication, and Office Management. Instruction was delivered by experienced MNDF instructors using classroom lectures, student-led sessions, practical exercises, and field industry placements.

MNDF stated that out of 75 initial enrollees, 73 trainees, comprising 13 females and 60 males representing 45 islands across 16 atolls, completed the programme. Among them, 66 graduates achieved a Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) approved Level 3 Certificate.

The National Service Programme officially launched on October 1, 2025. Since its inception, the initiative has achieved its first-year target, with a total of 1,028 Maldivian youth participating in and completing the initial training.
