20-Year-Old Man Dies Following Fall from Hulhumalé Phase 2 Tower

A 20-year-old man has died after falling from the 15th floor of Tower 8 of Amaan Udhares in Hulhumalé Phase 2.

The Maldives Police Service said officers are active at the scene. The authorities confirmed that the man was 20 years old and had fallen from the 15th floor of the residential building.

In a later update, citing the hospital where the man was taken to, the police said that he had died before being taken to the hospital.

Videos circulating on social media, purportedly showing the scene, appeared to show the man lying on the ground beside the tower, with a white cloth covering him.
