Fuvahmulah City Council Postpones Diving Fees

The Fuvahmulah City Council has postponed the introduction of fees for diving at specified locations in Fuvahmulah. 

Originally scheduled to come into effect today, the implementation of the Fuvahmulaku Marine Areas for Tourism Management Regulations has been deferred.

At an emergency meeting held today, the council members reached a unanimous decision to delay the enforcement of the diving fees. 

This move comes after continuous protests by stakeholders. 

However, the council has refrained from revealing the precise reasons behind this choice, leaving residents to know more about the factors influencing their decision-making process.
