New Bus Stop Added to Hiyaa Neighbourhood in Phase II

In a bid to improve public transportation infrastructure, an additional bus stop has been inaugurated within the Hulhumale’ Phase II Hiyaa neighbourhood. 

This recent development marks the fifth bus stop to be established, catering to the commuting needs of residents travelling between the Hiyaa neighbourhood and Male’.

Situated in close proximity to the H16 tower, the newly introduced bus stop is poised to bring heightened convenience to inhabitants of the Hiyaa flats.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), the entity responsible for the public bus service, currently operates a frequency of buses shuttling between the Hiyaa neighbourhood and Male’ at 15 minute intervals. 

The company has expressed its commitment to adapting its services in accordance with demand, aiming to streamline and enhance its bus services for commuters reliant on the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus service.
