The Housing Ministry has decided to issue a document to individuals who qualified but did not secure one of the initial 4,000 flats, confirming their inclusion to receive a flat under the government’s housing projects.

Following a response of over 20,000 applications for social housing flats, the Ministry identified 13,000 applicants as eligible.

Initial assurances from the Housing Ministry had promised allotment of flats to all applicants prior to the government change scheduled for the 17th of this month.

Among the initial 4,000 flats, three-bedroom apartments are available to applicants scoring more than 76 points on the permanent list, while two-bedroom apartments are accessible to those with over 73 points.
