With the exception of individuals registered under resorts, prisons, and industrial establishments, others will maintain their voter registration as per the last presidential election.
Before initiating the re-registration process, the Election Commission advises individuals to verify their current registration status by sending an SMS to 1414.
According to the Election Commission’s records, a total of 20,848 people re-registered for the 2019 parliamentary elections.
