Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has taken up residence at Hilaaleege, the designated official abode for the Vice President.
The move occurred late on Thursday evening, culminating a delay in occupying the premises since assuming office on November 17th, attributed to ongoing renovations.
Notably, Latheef’s predecessor, Faisal Naseem, similarly resided at Hilaaleege during his term in office.
This transition parallels President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s relocation to Mulee’aage, the official presidential residence, which took place in February, coinciding with refurbishment activities at the premises.
