In celebration of World Oceans Day, Dhiraagu also hosted a kids’ surfing clinic at Artificial Beach, led by Kayan and endorsed by the Maldives Surfing Association (MSA). According to Dhiraagu, the clinic allowed young participants to learn about the ocean, various surfing points, safety tips, and beginner techniques.

The programme, which has been running for over a decade, has previously featured prominent figures such as the late Ahmed Nashid (Zero Degree), surfer Ibrahim Areef, athlete Abdul Gafoor Ali (Gabbe), sprinter Hassan Saaid, and diver Zoona Naseem (Zoonti), among others.
