Man Found Dead inside Room in Hanimaadhoo

A man has been found dead in a room on the northern island of Hanimaadhoo, according to police.

Authorities responded to a call after receiving a report that the man had not been heard from since entering his room the previous night.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered the man lying motionless in his bed. He was declared dead upon arrival at the Hanimaadhoo Health Centre.

The police have stated that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
