Dhivehi Bahuge Academy Inaugurates ‘Fenda Mauraz 2024’ Book Exhibition 

The Dhivehi Bahuge Academy (DBA) inaugurated the ‘Fenda Mauraz 2024’ book exhibition, marking National Writers’ Day.

The event was officially opened by Abbas Ibrahim, recipient of the Order of Distinguished Rule of Izzudheen.

The exhibition, held at the DBA premises, is a collaborative effort between the Academy and Liyuntheringe Gulhun, an organisation dedicated to promoting Dhivehi literature.

During the inauguration ceremony, DBA President Dr. Asharaf Abdul Raheem highlighted the exhibition’s focus on Dhivehi language writers, providing them with a platform to showcase and sell their works. He also mentioned that books published by DBA would be available for purchase at the event.

The ‘Fenda Mauraz 2024’ exhibition features a variety of books, including children’s literature, historical works, and novels, available at reduced prices compared to DBA’s shop.The exhibition runs on the 14th and 15th of July, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
