As per updates provided by the commission, voter turnout stands at only 32.3 percent of eligible voters as of 1pm today.

Polling stations opened at 8 am this morning and will remain open until 4 pm today.

Several local councils seats were vacated after several members contested and emerged victorious in the parliamentary elections held last month.
