During the inauguration ceremony, Minister Shafeeu highlighted the broader objectives of the project, emphasising that its scope extends beyond mere temperature control.
The initiative to air-condition schools will entail an additional 38 percent in current state expenditure, with 30 percent of the project’s energy requirements being met through renewable sources. Minister Shafeeu underscored that the endeavour is a joint venture involving both governmental and private sector collaboration.
