Foreign Minister Departs to Saudi Arabia for World Economic Forum

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, departed to Saudi Arabia on Saturday to partake in the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development.

During his attendance at the conference, Minister Zameer is scheduled to engage in various high-level events and sessions aimed at fostering global partnerships. These discussions seek to promote collaboration on a global scale, with a particular focus on addressing challenges related to growth and energy development. Additionally, Minister Zameer will participate in dialogue with counterparts from other nations, as well as leaders from international organisations, business sectors, and academia.

Jointly organised by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Economic Forum, the Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development is expected to convene over 700 leaders from diverse backgrounds. The gathering aims to facilitate constructive exchanges and strategic planning to tackle common global issues.
