Contracts Awarded for Flats in Mahibadhoo and Kunburudhoo

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has been contracted to construct new housing units in Addu Atoll, specifically on the islands of Mahibadhoo and Kunburudhoo.

The Ministry of Housing announced that 100 units will be built in Mahibadhoo and 25 units in Kunburudhoo. Agreements for both projects were signed yesterday, with HDC Managing Director Ali Zuhair representing the company and State Minister Ismail Hameed signing on behalf of the Ministry.

The Mahibadhoo housing project is scheduled for completion within 540 days, while the Kunburudhoo project is expected to be completed within 480 days.

Each project will consist of three-bedroom flats, aiming to address housing needs in both communities.
