Gov’t Contracts the Thinadhoo International Airport Development Project

The Government of the Maldives has contracted the project to develop Thinadhoo International Airport.
The agreement signing ceremony took place during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s meeting with the residential community of Thinadhoo City tonight.
The development of Thinadhoo City’s International Airport was contracted to Pan Pacific Company Limited.
Speaking with the residents of Thinadhoo City, Muizzu stated that the airport would have a unique design. He added that the airport’s passenger terminal would be an overwater structure and that the airport would help boost tourism and development throughout the atoll.
Dr Abdulla Muththalib, the Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Maldives, and Jirat Petnunthawong, CEO of Pan Pacific Company Limited, signed on behalf of the contractor.
