Gov’t Launches Thoddoo Road Development Project

The government has officially commenced Thoddoo road development project today. 

The ceremony was led by Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim and Road Development Corporation (RDC) Managing Director Ali Zuhair.

The RDC, having been awarded the contract in September 2023, will oversee the implementation of the project. Valued at over MVR 77 million, the initiative aims to modernise four roads spanning a total of 2.5 km in Thoddoo. 

Key features of the project include the installation of a drainage system and the enhancement of street lighting infrastructure.
