HDC Takes Over Repair and Maintenance of Hulhumalé Phase 1 Flats

Housing Development Corporation has assumed responsibility for the repair and maintenance of flats in Hulhumalé Phase 1.
The corporation signed an agreement with the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, granting HDC oversight of 704 flats under the Social Housing schemes. Previously, these flats were managed directly by the ministry.

Work to repair and maintain the flats is currently underway. HDC has announced it is seeking partner companies to assist in addressing the maintenance issues affecting the 704 units.
In addition to Hulhumalé Phase 1, HDC continues to manage the maintenance of the Hiyaa and Vinares flats in Hulhumalé Phase 2, further consolidating its role in overseeing social housing developments in the area.
