Heritage Ministry Initiates Dhivehi National Restoration Project Consultation with MNDF

The Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage convened the inaugural consultation meeting for the pilot phase of the Dhivehi National Restoration Project, known as ‘AjumaFiyavahi’, with representatives from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).

Minister Adam Naseer Ibrahim presided over the session, emphasising the pivotal role of the MNDF as the pioneering institution to implement the Dhivehi Nationalism Restoration Programme.

He underscored the significance of acquainting all echelons within the agency with the objectives of the nationalist endeavour.

In pursuit of this goal, both entities engaged in extensive deliberations, including informational sessions on the national language tailored for a wide spectrum of officers and officials. 

Furthermore, discussions encompassed forthcoming initiatives aligned with the project’s objectives. Consequently, groundwork has been laid for the formal initiation of the program in collaboration with the National Defense Force, slated for May.
