Maldives Customs Service Hosts Tariff Expert Forum
The Maldives Customs Service is currently hosting a three-day Tariff Expert Forum, with 48 officers participating in the skill development initiative.

The forum, in its third edition, focuses on updating officers on tariff changes, revisiting key classification concepts, and addressing operational challenges related to tariffs.
Additionally, on February 21st, 2024, the Maldives Customs Service signed an MoU with Sri Lankan Customs. This MoU aims to strengthen collaboration and mutual assistance in customs-related matters between the two nations.
These initiatives highlight the Maldives Customs Service’s commitment to enhancing officer expertise and fostering international cooperation in customs management.
