The council, as highlighted by Minister Faisal, is tasked with diversifying the tourism sector by promoting new niches such as sports tourism, cultural exploration, and community engagement. Additionally, he elaborated on the government’s commitment to sustainable tourism through the recently introduced Eco-Tourism Framework and roadmap.

During his address, Minister Faisal also expressed optimism about fostering fruitful partnerships with Middle Eastern travel trade businesses and investors at ATM 2024, underscoring the government’s proactive approach in expanding the tourism industry’s footprint on the global stage.
