Male’ City Council Erects Bollards to Prevent Parking

Male’ City Council has initiated the installation of bollards, or iron bars, in various parts of Male’ city to prevent vehicles from parking.

The Mayor Adam Azim stated that the bollards would be placed in locations where they would not obstruct driving or walking.

Currently, the council is installing bollards on the pavements of Lonuziyaaraiy Magu, in front of Sultan Park. 

Bollards have already been installed in several other parts of the Male’ city, which has reportedly made it challenging for pedestrians to move around.
