The Ministry of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works has formalised an agreement with State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to undertake the construction of a park in Villimale’.

Under the terms of the MoU, STELCO is entrusted with the task of refurbishing the existing park located on plot number 38 and implementing further enhancements to the surrounding area. The agreement was formally endorsed by the Managing Director of STELCO, Hussain Fahmy, and the Minister of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works, Adam Shareef Umar.

During the signing ceremony, Managing Director Fahmy emphasised that the project aligns with STELCO’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. He expressed the company’s intent to swiftly rejuvenate the park and reopen it to the public.
