Muizzu Awards Uninhabited Island to Meemu Muli

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended the jurisdictions of Meemu Muli to include an uninhabited island.

The extended jurisdiction includes Boahuraa, the uninhabited island adjacent to the island as part of Muli. The island was previously set aside to be developed as a resort.

President Muizzu made these changes through a resolution to amend the jurisdiction map of Mulaku under powers granted to the President in the Decentralisation Act of 2010.
